Shivan Kamugisha is a PhD student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She joined Unity in Spring 2024 as a Research Assistant. She has a research background in hydrological and ecological modeling. Her research computing interests are data modeling and simulation, optimization modeling, and machine learning for conservation. She enjoys music and dancing.
