🆕 Unity Website Updates

The Unity website has a brand new look! The theme changes are intended to make our website easier to navigate, and enhance user experience.

If anything on the website does not work or looks incorrect, please contact the facilitation team.

‼️ Maximum Time Limit Reduced

Due to the unprecedented flood of critical vulnerabilities exposed in the linux kernel, Unity will move to a weekly kernel update schedule. This means it is no longer possible to support 14 day uninterrupted jobs.

To ensure we can patch vulnerabilities quickly, we will reduce the max time limit to 5 days cluster wide.

⚠️ Scratch Space Critically Low

Scratch space is very close to filling up. If scratch fills up, jobs writing to that space will likely fall.

Please delete or release any jobs you do not need.

💤 Globus Downtime Reminder

Globus will be unavailable from about 9:30-10:30 AM on Saturday, Oct. 24 for maintenance.
