We’ve recently made the following updates to nodes:

uri-cpu[074-102]tocpu-preempt(these are single power supply nodes, so jobs could be interrupted) - Added
uri-gpu[015-017]togpu(two with 2x A100-40 and one with 4x A100-40) - Reconfigured
gpu047to have 2x A4000 (16GB VRAM)
⚠️ AI Dataset Update: /datasets/ai/qwen Directory Changes by Feb. 13
As the number of Qwen models continues to grow, we will be splitting the existing directory /datasets/ai/qwen into three directories by February 13: /datasets/ai/qwen, /datasets/ai/qwen2, and /datasets/ai/qwen3.
Please be sure to update your job paths accordingly.

Starting this week, the University of Rhode Island’s Artificial Intelligence (URI AI) Lab invites the Unity community to attend their Spring 2026 Workshops. The URI AI Lab is dedicated to interdisciplinary research and learning in the context of use-inspired AI. 🗓️ Reminder: NEW Weekly Workshop on Quantum Algorithms
As part of the URI AI Lab’s Spring 2026 Workshops, URI is hosting a new weekly workshop called Quantum Algorithms for Engineers and Scientists that will introduce quantum computing and quantum algorithms for a general audience.
The workshop series takes place weekly on Fridays, starting on January 30, from 12:30 - 2:00pm. See details and register in advance on the Event page.
