ANNOUNCEMENTS
⏰ New VS Code Session Limit – 1 per user
We will be limiting VS Code sessions on Unity OnDemand to one per user.
🎊 Harmony has been installed!
At the end of 2024, the Unity team received an NSF grant to add Harmony. Last week, Harmony was officially installed at the MGHPCC! If you’re interested in getting involved — as a student worker, beta tester, or simply to receive updates when deployment is complete — please fill out this form: https://forms.office.com/r/phehJTxHww.
🚨 Scratch workspace: 15TB quota
We have now changed the scratch storage quota to 15TB. For extreme scratch needs, reach out to the Unity team.
⚠️ We encourage users to migrate data from /scratch/workspace to /scratch3/workspace
Due to space constraints on /scratch/workspace, we are asking users who are expecting large or rapid growth of their scratch space to consider migrating data to /scratch3/workspace. You can do this by creating a new workspace, which will automatically be created there, and moving some data over. We are currently working on buying another petabyte of scratch!
🎉 Unity ran its 40 MILLIONTH job!
Unity’s 40 millionth job was a very short array job task that started on Tuesday, July 15th!

The URI AI Lab is dedicated to interdisciplinary research and learning in the context of use-inspired AI.
